Amy Necci, MEd, RYT-500
Amy considers herself a teacher and a student every single day. She has been practicing yoga and mindfulness for many years and loves weaving them into her work as a public school educator in Pennsylvania. For Amy, yoga is a practice both on and off the mat. In all aspects it has been a powerful tool for helping her through anything that life might bring her way.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Education of Spanish and a Masters in Education. She has studied with Yogi Beans, Mindful Schools, and Pranakriya School of Yoga. As a director for Pranakriya School of Yoga, she leads Making Yoga Philosophy Accessible to Kids and Deepening the Asana Experience: Gentle Yoga.
Amy teaches adult, kids, tween, and teen yoga classes. She feels strongly that yoga and mindfulness can benefit anyone at any stage of life and that the skills learned through these practices are especially important to teach to today’s youth. Wherever she shares with others, Amy’s goal is to cultivate a supportive space of acceptance and comfort, offering her students permission to be themselves, trust themselves, and grow at their own pace.
