Each of us have imbalances and patterns in our body. We have ways of moving and holding ourselves throughout the day that might not be ideal for good function. Working one on one with a professional trained to spot misalignments, can be transformative to uncovering these patterns that might be limiting us. A one-on-one assessment can be crucial to changing patterns we are stuck in that might be causing nagging pain or contributing to a lack of healing in our body. An individualized session will help take you to the next level in your journey of moving through exercise and daily activities with more awareness and ease.
To help you get the most out of your private session, we recommend that you send in videos and pictures taken ahead of time along with your goals and interests. The session will be tailored to help your specific body. You will leave the session with take home exercises and correctives to specifically address your needs.
Because the work is so specific, there may be a time in your healing process when you need to have your alignment assessed and receive more support. Private sessions can be done at any point in your RYC journey. Cost $95 for one hour.

Yoga for Strength
Yoga for Strength is open to anyone! We offer numerous weekly classes for students wanting a challenge! This is a great class for students who have completed our movement series and feel ready for more. It is also open to anyone who does not have limited mobility or aggravated injuries
Yoga for Strength combines pilates, strength training and yoga in a fun creative way with the goal of building lasting core support, increased flexibility and decreased pain. This class addresses common imbalances that lead to back pain, weakness, shoulder tightness, and lack of mobility and function. We target the entire body through movement and the use of light hand weights, bands, and props. We place strong emphasis on effective breathing techniques that support core function, strength and movement. Expect to work hard, feel stronger, more relaxed and calmer. Modifications will always be offered and all movements can be done without weights. This class is open to anyone and we welcome beginner students.
Yoga for Strength occurs weekly on Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays from 12:15 – 1:00pm

Click HERE to get started. To receive a discount on the program, email us for the coupon code. The 13 week program along with working with Michele will help you to get the most out of the work.
If you think you may have some of the problems that we listed above, we recommend getting checked by a specialized core and pelvic floor physical therapist. Our friends at Core Plus Physical Therapy in Mechanicsburg are highly trained, compassionate and would love to help.
Restore Your Core®
The RYC® method is a whole-body approach to training your core and pelvic floor muscles to be more functional, responsive, and supportive of your body as a whole. It teaches you to move better, exercise more efficiently, and to unlock the compensation patterns that our bodies inevitably fall into during daily routines. RYC® works to replace those compensation patterns with new strategies that help us to be stronger, more supported, and more mobile. Many of the moves come from yoga and pilates and emphasize breathing strategies and alignment. This program has proved to be incredibly effective in helping women to regain strength in their bodies after pregnancy and childbirth (both recently postpartum and years past postpartum). This is not to say that RYC® is only for postpartum women. The program’s benefits are wide-reaching for women and men in all stages of life who want to learn about their bodies and move better. For men, it’s shown incredibly helpful for recovery from a prostatectomy.
RYC® helps to alleviate symptoms from pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, lower back pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction, urinary urgency and incontinence and other core and pelvic floor problems. All RYC™ classes are taught by certified Restore Your Core Teachers® Michele Landis, ERYT 500 and Maggie Stonecash RYT, MEd
