Q. I purchased an intro offer online and the expiration date stated 30 days from purchase.  Will that change once I sign up for my first class?

Yes!

Q. Should I bring a mat to class?
A.
If you have one, yes! If you don't, that's ok you may borrow one of ours at no additional cost.  We ask that you clean it with our special mat cleaner when you are finished.

Q. Do I have to register online for classes?

A. No. You do not have to register online for classes, however, we stongly recommend it. Registering reserves a space. Space is limited and we honor reservations before walk-ins.

Q. May I reserve a space for someone else?
A. Yes. To make a reservation for someone other than yourself, simply log in to your account and make a reservation for someone else.

Q, Who is eligible for a guest pass?
A.
Only our members get one guest pass each month.

Q. What happens if I miss a reserved class?
A. If you register for a class and do not show, the class will still be deducted from your account unless you "early cancel."

Q. How late before a class starts can I cancel without losing a class reservation?
A. You may "Early Cancel" by removing your reservation up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the class.

Q. I tried to register for a class and the system is asking me to pay when I know I already have active credits to use.
A. Most likely you have two accounts set up.  Give us a call or send us an email and we will take care of it. Once we merge your accounts it will be easy to register for classes online.


Q. I am not sure which class is right for me, how do I choose the right class?
A. Please read through our class descriptions to find the class that's right for you. In every class, our instructors encourage you to "listen to your body" and never push beyond your level of safety. If you are a new student, consider our gentle or basic level as the place to start.  The best classes for beginners are: Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga & Chair Yoga.

Q. What should I wear to class?
A. Wear comfortable clothes. Exercise pants, loose-fitting pants or shorts and tops are best. Shoes are removed before entering the studio and we recommend bare feet for the optimal yoga practice. Please refrain from using scented products or colognes as many of our students are sensitive to perfumes.

Q. What should I bring with me to class?
A. Bring a yoga mat and water bottle with you to class. We have mats available at no cost if necessary.  If you borrow a mat please clean it using our cleaner after you are finished.

Q. Where are you located?
A. We are right in the heart of downtown Carlisle, PA, one block west of the square. Our address is 28 South Pitt Street. The studio is located on the second floor of the historic, stone Simply Well building. There is free parking behind the building. You may enter the building from the parking lot, using the back entrance through the patio.

Q. Can I drop in to any class or do I have to sign up for a series?
A. You may try any class at any time for a drop-in rate of $18.00. For your first time, we recommend trying our intro offer. 

Q. How early should I be for class?
A. Our teachers at Yoga at Simply Well do their best to begin and end every session on time. The studio is usually open 10-30 minutes prior to class time in order to allow students to set up their spaces and prepare for their practice.  For your first visit, we recommend you come at least 20 minutes early to fill out paper work and get settled in.

Q. I'm not flexible. What if I'm not able to sit cross-legged or do the yoga poses?
A. It is ok if you are not flexible or cannot sit cross-legged. We want you to be comfortable throughout the entire class and that might mean making accommodations for poses that are being taught. We use props such as chairs, blankets, bolsters and blocks to keep you safe and comfortable.

Q. Is my class pass transferable?
A. Yes, you may share classes if you have a 5 or 10 class pass.
