Irene Osborn

Irene began practicing yoga in 2007 to repair a rock climbing injury. After the first class she took, she realized that there was more to the practice than movement and flexibility. Irene found herself using yoga as a supplement to competitive rock climbing, able to have clarity of mind for competitions. After more injury and multiple surgeries, yoga was a constant lifestyle choice. Yoga helped Irene heal mentally, physically and spiritually from her surgeries. Irene became a 200 RYT in 2014 through Axis Yoga Teacher Training in Denver, Colorado. Her teachers were students of the Iyengar and Ashtanga lineages. Irene's desire is to teach healing and spiritually transformational classes while giving great attention to alignment and strength.

Irene is also a holistic health coach (in the making, coming October 2015). Her desire is that through healing foods and the practice of yoga, students would find the healing they need for their mind, body and spirit.

Irene Clauser

Irene first discovered yoga as a teenager and practiced leisurely throughout college. It was not until 2014 that she became a dedicated student. Irene received her 200 hour certification through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and studied under Brahmani Liebman, Jashoda Edmunds, and Yoganand Michael Carroll. Irene is also a certified ChildLight Children’s Yoga Teacher and has provided a variety of classes for children and families. Irene‘s study of yoga initially began as a physical practice but later flourished into a study of yogic philosophy, spirituality, and the inner Self. She is a sarcastic empath who wears her heart on her sleeve and is always up for a good laugh. As a former Domestic Violence Counselor/ Advocate, Irene has cultivated her classes to be a therapeutic practice, bringing attention lessons for on and off the mat. While doing her best to offer a variety of flavors, Irene‘s classes will always focus on Swami Kripalu’s teaching… “self observation without judgement.”

Julie Vastine

Julie discovered yoga in 2011 during her journey to cultivate practices to better sustain her work in the environmental field. Motivated by her passion to integrate self-care into the workplace, Julie completed her 200 hour certification through Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts to deepen her practice while adding to her teaching toolkit. She is thrilled to offer classes at Yoga at Simply Well that combine prana, meditation, asana, her love for yoga, and sense of humor. When Julie isn't on her mat or working with communities throughout the mid-Atlantic region, she loves to hike, bike, cook, and laugh with her spouse, friends, and family.

Hathaway Jones

Hathaway Jones grew up in the Cumberland Valley and has been teaching Ashtanga-style vigorous yoga since 2003. She was trained by YogaFit to teach the vinyasa style of yoga. Her class combines vigorous salutations with leg and arm balances and core strengthening poses to create balance, muscle tone and endurance. In her free time, Hathaway enjoys running, trail running, hiking, kayaking and snowboarding.
This class moves through an energetic sequence designed to tap into your internal fire through strength building. You will learn to move through poses with connecting vinyasas to build fluidity in the body. The class will be rooted in creating a steady breath to guide your practice. This class is for appropriate for all levels of student who have a current active lifestyle.
